Originally the site or a triple storey beach shack, the house has been shared by two familes for many years. The brief was to subdivide the land and design two four bedroom dwelling for the original owners. The brief was ambitious but was finally realized after much design consultation. The dwellings span over three levels, a large basement on the lower level, three bedrooms and a large living space for kids on the ground floors and the living, kitchen and master bedroom on the first level. A roof top deck is located within the roof area. The site has spectacular views towards the ocean the Heads, a key element that needed to be fully realised for both dwellings, in addition the design aimed to optimise solar access where ever possible…….. after much design and planning, the project is finally under construction……………………..
