Beach House

Located close to their favorite surf break, this beach house is a home to 4 keen surfers. The design in simple, the form plays on geometric shapes and the material palette has been selected to tolerate the harsh coastal conditions and require little maintenance. The house has been designed to soak up winter sun and has a dedicated sun nook for its sun loving client. The family spaces open on to a centrally located deck, while a studio retreat has been placed at the rear of the site. The landscape and house are harmoniously linked to create a permanent coastal retreat.
